I was visiting family in Ottawa when I thought I lost my transmission. A good friend of my sister-in-law, who is car guy highly recommended Roy Barber Service. My car was towed to them at lunch and they had my car repaired that afternoon!!! Cal Barber (Roy’s son) the owner was listening to my description of the problem to one of his technicians and diagnosed the problem as probably a broken front axle - a significantly cheaper and quicker problem. Sure enough the axle was broken. Cal’s guys called me with the estimate, confirmed that they could get the new axle and install it the same day - what a life saver!!! My only regret is that I live outside Philadelphia and cannot use Cal and his guys for all my work. Thanks again Cal :)

Had a fantastic experience getting a pre inspection done with them before purchasing a used car. They found a few things that I'm glad got caught, and gave me great advice on whether or not to buy it. After purchasing it they had me on a great set of winter tires very quickly. Straight forward kind of place. Without having to ask my service advisor Matt took me in the garage after inspection to show and explain the mechanic findings. It was a recommendation made to me by the previous owner of my truck and my expectations were met. I was also offered a FREE loaner vehicle so I didn't have to wait around during the repairs. Would return. Thank you **update** July 6, 2021 Returned to have my truck realigned. I discovered that both front camber bolts on the lower control arms had loosened following the last alignment. Customer service met expectations since they redid the work at no charge right away with minimal wait.
